Recently before few days Ahmedabad User Group and Microsoft has organized A windows Azure boot camp event on April 27,2013. As an Ahmedabad User Group member I was there and it was amazing event. This post is about to share my experience with Event.

The event was about Windows Azure and getting started with Azure. In this event we were having one day deep classes and lab training which will help people to understand azure and to get up speed on developing for windows azure. Microsoft had arranged this event at more then 90 location all around globe and they were also going to have some live labs and experiment to give load to one of there data center. This event was showcase of windows azure and how real time application can be benefited with power of windows azure.

It was full day event and followings are agenda of event.
It has been sponsors by various well known IT companies.
and we have one local sponsors Revitas who provided us venue for making this event possible.
The event was started around 9:30 in the morning. It was first started by welcome note by Mahesh Dhola where he welcome all attendees and give a small introduction about event and windows azure.
After that he deep dives about windows azure and gone through all kind of application that can be developed with windows azure and all kind of services provided by windows azure platform.
After that we had tea and biscuits and then Mahesh explained about render farm experiment. It was an experiment by Microsoft Connected system MVP (@alansmith) prepared something based upon his 256 worker role demo. You can find out more information about from his blog post here.
After that we had lunch and its time to connect with other developers and community people. I have met lots of interesting and people and some Microsoft Student partners.
After lunch we had a session from Prabhjot Singh Bakshi where he showcase some application developed by him on windows azure platform. He explained how quickly we can develop application without worrying about capabilities and other issues.
After that we have got another power pack session from our own geek Kaushal Bhavsar. Who run his own startup Pratikar.
Then kaushal has explained and create a small application with Azure mobile service and explained how its works internally.
After that we all participate in the render farm experiment and due to effort of all attendees and AhmedabadUserGroup Members Ahmedabad is in top 20 location for rendering frames. You can find top location list from here.
